BEFORE, INBETWEEN, AND AFTER 170lbs to 122lbs

ktjean, I have a couple questions.

I am not overweight but I'd like to lose a few pounds, but its really hard for me to kick the sweet stuff. the past three days i've been eating healthy, and today i had a cupcake. Does stuff like that set you back too much? Or is it ok to have a snack like that once a week?

How was it for you to lose the last 15 pounds? I hear those are the hardest.

How many calories did you eat a day?

I just notice I stay the same if i eat crappy but still am working out..but if i eat crappy a couple days in a row i gain a couple pounds..but then you just have to whip yourself back into eating right and stay away from those BAD snacks..try to have more healthy snacks..like peanuts or granola bar..try your hardest to stick to working out and eating healthy!..It just takes longer to lose those stubburn last pounds bc you dont have as much weight to lose...it WILL come off you just have to be patient...I have no clue how many calories i eat a day..i never did count..i just made sure to eat right and that was it for me..and workout 5-7days a week. i love the fact that your fiancee was with you when you were heavier. at least you know he'll love you know matter what you looked like.

plus, it's so awesome that you were able to work out together and he could help you through it!

My highest size in bottoms were 13/14's..and for tops i wore larges..now i wear some 1/2's..but mostly 3/4's..and for tops X-Smalls and Smalls

I'm 15 but I've always been overweight, I'm 4'11 and I weigh 120, I don't really have a 'goal weight', I just want to look good. But if anything I'd like to be 100-105, by my birthday which is April 27, do you think if I worked really really hard i could look lose those fifteen pounds?
You made such a great transformation, you look amazing. Your the envy of girls everywhere.

I ate 3 times a day...i hear its better to eat little portions 6 times throughout the day but i ate my main 3 meals (not HUGE either) and then id have a little snack inbetween either breakfast and lunch or between lunch and supper. Its probably different for everyone, but thats what i did.

I wouldnt try and lose that much in a month..15 pounds in a month is a lot for someone whos not REALLY overweight..i lost about 7 pounds a month..2-3pounds a week. Id just try and stay away from any junk food and try to do as much physical exercise as you can. If you dont lose those exact 15 pounds by your bithday its ok..atleast you have lost SOME by then..just keep it up..its better to lose it in a healthy way then trying to lose it THAT FAST! i think you could lose that 15 pounds in about a month and a half to 2 months..if you really stick to it!! I wanted to get to my goal weight also by my birthday last year (april 30th, ours are pretty close! haha) and i was close to the weight i wanted to be but i wasnt quite there..but i still felt good..i just continued to lose weight until i felt comfortable with myself...Hopefully this will help you!! You'll look great on your birthday..trust me..and just keep it up!!! Take care hun!!

Yes hunny, you look fabulous! And it's great to see someone who can maintain for a period of time. You are so lucky to lose in the tummy! That is the last thing to go on me! I am hoping to be atleast a size 5, just hoping the rest of my body doesn't disappear before my tummy does! Anyway, you are definitly a great example to look to when I get a little discouraged! :seeya:
