If it's not too late I would love to be counted in. As for my goal, I would like to aim for 2 lbs. a week, but most importantly, go binge-free for six weeks. Now that would be an awesome accomplishment. I am excited, I even start my first nursing job on the 21st!!!!
 
shyguy: Are you really trying to lose 68 pounds in 6 weeks? That's 11 pounds a week, I really don't think that's going to work. :S

Weehee, I lost a pound...gone goes the evil number 197 and hopefully for good! I never want to see that number again.

Im pretty sure I can do it, again, the fat hasnt been on my body to long, I can eat pretty good when I dont smoke weed (and of course no munchies with that buzz) and without weed I have a hard time sleeping so Im going to have to get my body doped on natural highs, ie excercise. I dont know if any of you know this, Ive done some hardcore drugs coke, e, ice etc etc (yes I know all bad choices Ive made I no longer do those) and the feeling you get from those drugs is so eerily similar to the feeling I get after a long bike ride or whats the best is, a hard long run. Just so euphoric.

So Im going to go for that type of buzz again from excercise, which is probably the only thing that will help me sleep at night for a while.

so, monday morning here (in oz) and my starting weight for the challenge is 73.6kgs. for this challenge i would like to:

1) exercise daily
2) drink at least 2ltrs water a day
3) goal weight is 70kgs

i'm new here. reading through the replies, i guess i should say i want to get down to 190 (from 215) during the period.

i'm not sure how this whole challenge works, so i would be really grateful if any of you can tell me how it goes. :D

Hi! You set your goal...and you try for 6 weeks to achieve it. You report back here when you need some moral support or want to tell us all about your successes.

Ok, I'm in. I'm a newbie to this site so it will also be a great way to meet some of you! Put me in for 10 pounds, and we'll see what happens!

Ok It's time to do this!

I'm starting at 168 and my goal is 18lbs in 6 weeks :)

I think I might try not to have any binges for these 6 weeks...only on special occasions (I have at least one friends birthday coming up).

Now that would be a great accomplishment!

We'll see! hehe.

SW: 193.5
GW: 183.5

Ways to accomplish my goal:

1. Calorie intake between 1200-1350 every day.
2. Walk/Ride a grand total of 100 miles.
3. Finish my goal of 5000 sit-ups.
4. Drink water until I'm waterlogged.
5. Not step on the freakin' scale everyday--especially around TOM.
6. Practice my violin/cello at least 3 times a week for 1/2 an hour.

Ok, I am at 131 today. My goal is to get to 128 by the end of this challenge. I know this is a much smaller goal, but I've been loosing only 1 lb per month (unfortunately). So if I can drop 1 lb in 2 weeks this challenge, it would be awesome!
 
GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!! Today is the DAY:D YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I had to much Coffee;) Well, I wieghed in today at 165:mad: That is 10lbs gianed since July:eek: Wow!!! I did some serious eating... Okay, My goal is 10lbs. So I wanna be 155 by the end of 6 weeks. I can DO It!!!!! Think Positive. Ya'll have a Great Day and drink Your WATER!!!! Don't Forget:D

I'll be aiming for 183. No problems drinking the water; I'm so used to it now, that I don't keep track anymore. 8 glasses a day is my MINIMUM! So, my new goal is to:

1) lose 12 pounds
2) walk for 30 min. every day (1 hour if I have the slow kid with me:D )
3) do 5 workout videos a week
4) force myself to put lettuce on my sandwiches (yuck) for an extra vitamin
5) remember to take my vitamins (very important!)

Kaitie, it looks like we're pretty close in weight and goals. Mini challenge?:)

205.6 Here!!

I want to lose 15 lbs. 190.6 I would like to be at by the end of this challenge.

I best be getting my butt to the gym!
 
I weighed myself this morning, and I was 2lbs heavier than last week. Man, that is frustrating. Especially since I got out on my bike for good rides last week for just under 7.5hrs (and this wasn't a really slow leasurely pace). Quite dissapointed. Maybe its water or something like that. Arghh.

1) 5 rides a week
2) Limit myself to 2 drinks a week (I've been drinking a lot of beer lately)
3) One cheat night per week
4) Good food choices for the rest of the week
