Hummus with a latin flair to accomodate a healthy substitute for guacamole.

Ingredients

  • 1 Can / 15 oz. Garbanzo Beans
  • 1 Bunch Cilantro
  • 1 Garlic Clove, Chopped
  • 1 Avocado, Diced
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Water, as needed
  • 1 Lemon or Lime, sliced in wedges

Steps

  • 1 Blend garbanzo beans, cilantro leaves, garlic and 1/2 of the diced avocado in a blender or food processor. Alternate using olive oil and water as needed to obtain desired consistency. Add salt to taste. Place blended hummus in a serving dish. Drizzle with olive oil. Serve with wheat pita chips or veggies and lemon or lime wedges.
