How did you get started with fitness modeling?
I got into fitness modeling a few years after i started training. I was working with a group of guys in New York called the City Gym Boys. We did calendars & went to different schools to promote fitness. After a few calendars & a couple of bodybuilding shows several magazines called me for a photo shoot
Where does your motivation come from?
My motivation comes from wanting to be unstoppable! Period! When I decide to do something I want to be the best at it.
In my opinion life is too short to be small & weak! To be the best you need to train like the best! My overall motivation is to be part of history & be compared with legends in the industry. Best of the best!
What workout routine has worked best for you?
Over the years I have found that high rep workouts in the 12-15 rep range have worked well for me. This really breaks down the muscles and makes you grow. From time to time I also include some power training (4 – 6 rep range) although the bulk of my routine is made up of high reps. Another thing I do is always change my workouts around every so often to shock the muscles. This works best for me because my body cannot adapt to that same routine and that is what helps me add on more mass.
If you have to pick only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?
1. Incline Bench Press – I like it better than flat bench press and It also hits the shoulders (front delts) a bit.
2. Pullups – It’s a difficult exercise for many but it is vital for your back development! One of the best upper body compound movements I have come across.
3. Squats – It’s the king of all exercises! To be the best you have to face the king!
What do your off season and contest prep diets consist of?
There is really no off season for me as i stay within 10lbs to do photo shoots or appearances. Here is a simple of my diet.
My diet is pretty good during the week and I have a cheat meal on the weekend only. I also don’t eat any pork or red meat. Although when it comes to competing I always make sure to eat a steak the night before to fill out. That’s the only time I eat red meat.
· Meal 1: 1 cup of plain Oatmeal & 8 Egg Whites
· Meal 2: Protein Shake (45g of protein, 30g of carbs)
· Meal 3: Quarter Chicken & Rice
· Meal 4: Post workout shake. (45g of protein, 60g of carbs)
· Meal 5: Protein shake (45g of protein, 30g of carbs)
· Meal 6: Grilled Salmon with Rice & Vegetables
When dieting down for a competition what type of cardio do you use? High intensity, Low intensity, or interval cardio?
To be honest i don’t do much cardio. I only do 20mins of cardio max to work my heart & sweat out excess water when im dieting for a show or photo shoot. I prefer HIIT cardio when i do cardio. I do HIIT cardio which I find works best because It helps me get shredded fast and you can change your intervals everyday to confuse the body.
What supplements do you use?
Whey protein, creatine, pre-workout drink, multi vitamins, extra vitamin C & E, anti-oxidants, fish oil, BCAA, AAG- arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, glutamine, Vitargo & Casein protein.
What competitors do you look up to and why?
I don’t really look up to any competitors. I respect a lot of them for their hard work & dedication in the sport. I have MAD respect for the old school guys like Arnold, Serge Nubret, Lee Haney, Flex wheeler & Shawn Ray for laying the foundation.

I work with Musclemania so i will be competing in upcoming shows & making appearances all over the world. Im working on some television & movie appearances. I also have some supplement advertisement in the works with several companies.
