Title: Healthy Living?

Coming up with a dietary plan to fit your needs is extremely difficult. I’ve spent a great deal of time considering all possibilities and fought letting mainstream ideas influence my decision. After much consideration I have finally come up with a diet plan in which I have found to be MUCH easier to follow.

To understand my reasoning behind how I've come up with my diet you have to understand my philosophy of the human body. The human body will always crave that which it is lacking. So henceforth it's always best to indulge in your senses instead of fighting to make it a "balanced diet". The food scale is designed under the idea that your body needs certain foods to be able to sustain itself (Bull***).

If we are suppose to be eating so many starches, why do our taste buds reject it so much. We are forcing ourselves to eat against what our body wants. And when given the choice to put additives on these bland foods, we are forced to use minimal dosages. I say forget that! I like my tuna sandwich with extra mayonnaise and extra salt on it. And I know my limits. If it’s too salty just open up the sandwich and scrape some of the salt off the tuna. If genetics opted otherwise, salt and fat would be disgusting to me.

I’ve decided that the Fast Food industry has gotten too much of a bad rap about the lack of Nutritional content that their food has in it. But I have to tell you that I find their food 5 times more satisfying than eating a head of lettuce with no butter or dressing. So I’ve focused most of my diet around the Fast Food industry. My breakfast consists mainly of McDonalds McMuffin Value meal, where I double up on the hash browns, and of course I don’t forget the extra salt packets. Later, for lunch I feel the need for variety so I head for either Taco Bell or maybe a little bit of Carl’s Jr. Then from there I don’t eat till about 8:00 where at most I’ll snack on a hotdog or two. Then when dinner comes along I have a good size meal of 2 double cheeseburgers with bacon. Lastly, I’ll only eat if I wake up at night, so I keep a bag of pork rinds beside my bed in case I get hungry at night.

In conclusion, I find that after a year of this diet that I am in the best shape of my life. I’ve been able to get far more sleep than I ever had before making it a minimum of 10+ hours a day. Though I had gained a few what I call health pounds over the year I still know that I am in peak condition. My doctor tells me that my heart has never beat so hard and fast and that sticking to the diet will make all my problems go away permanently. He’s funny when he gets that way, but I know that sticking to my diet will eventually stop my chest pains and I can finally get off the medication. So here’s to a healthy lifestyle and I’ll give you an update when I can get the feeling back in my fingers.

Your reasoning is a bit faulty. It seems like you are trying to make an excuse to do what you want to do then that which is best. If you don't want to follow healthy eating habits than don't, but do not delude yourself into thinking fast food is healthy.

"The human body will always crave that which it is lacking. So henceforth it's always best to indulge in your senses instead of fighting to make it a "balanced diet". The food scale is designed under the idea that your body needs certain foods to be able to sustain itself (Bull***)."

Drug addicts crave their fix, does that mean that their drugs are good for the body too just becuase their bodies crave it? Humans are creatures of habit. I used to eat fast food off the time, then I stopped after reading what was in their food and how poorly regulated it is. Go read a book called Fast Food Nation and tell me what you think. We shouldn't believe everything we need, but I doubt any doctor or dietician will tell you that eating fast food is even close to healthy, unless you are talking about Subway or some of the healthier food choices avaialable at fast food restaurants. To me, when you say this it's kind of like when people make an argument for something "It's natural so it can't hurt you" which any biologist would tell you is a load of manure.

"If we are suppose to be eating so many starches, why do our taste buds reject it so much. We are forcing ourselves to eat against what our body wants. And when given the choice to put additives on these bland foods, we are forced to use minimal dosages. I say forget that! I like my tuna sandwich with extra mayonnaise and extra salt on it. The human body can become addicted to nearly anything mentally and/or physically. Humans are creatures of habit. Children who's parents are obese tend to be obese themselves, not exclusively because of genetics, but also because of lifestyle patterns learned while growing up. You learn to crave sugar, and our society is saturated with foods rich in carbs and/or sugars, but often have little protein. Taste a a pinch of sugar and then taste some tuna with no salt on it, which one tastes better?

"I’ve decided that the Fast Food industry has gotten too much of a bad rap about the lack of Nutritional content that their food has in it." Yes, because we all know that companies looking to push their product only give you the facts about the goods and bads of their products. I don't think the fast food industry isn't as bad as the tobacco company, but fast food restaurants are far from good sources of nutrition. Eating the occasional fast food cheeseburger isn't going to kill you, but eating it everyday is going to be bad for your body in the long run.

I hope you were speaking with sarcasm, because otherwise this is one of the most ridiculous statements I've read on a message board.
