Title: Serious Help Needed, Please Read This
Hello everyone,
A very dear friend of mine is a heavy smoker. I'm trying to see if I can help her "quit smoking". since I don't really know much about smoking, I need a much as much informations, and suggestions possible. Please if anyone knows any ressources of info, or someone that went thru the same thing, share the info.

My boyfriend is a "moderate
"smoker. He found success with
the nicotine replacement
patches but then he started
smoking again b/c he really
didn't want to quit yet. The
biggest factor is quitting
smoking is REALLY WANTING TO.
I asked my doctor how I could
help my boyfriend quit and he
said that if someone wants to
quit they should go see their
doctor for options. There are
prescriptions out now to help
people quit and he said that
sometimes it's beneficial to
combine the patches, gum and
medication. It depends on the
person. He said that the
biggest factor is that the
person has to want to quit. If
they aren't really into
quitting then they won't put
