Title: 0 Change In 10 Years Im 5'5, 173lbs and I am moderately fit. But, I can't seem to loose weight. It seems to me that I am just maintaining. Why can't I maintain at 130lbs instead? I have a fast paced job that I go to 5 days a week after I get up at 4:45am and walk 30min at about 4 mph. I watch what I eat, starting with either cereal or oatmeal. I have my 2 cups of coffee with one packet of sweetener. I eat a rather large lunch of a meat, potato, and veg. I usually need a snack to keep me going by 3 o'clock, though. I eat a meat, potato, veg dinner, and try to watch my portions. I don't eat anything before bed and I drink about 1 1/2 Gal. of water daily. I end the night with either a bike ride or a walk with my husband after our 5 kids go to bed. Is there any advice that someone could give me, Diet or Exercise? I've even had my thyriod checked and I've been checked for enimia. Name: Karla Date: Aug. 13th, 2001 Title: Re: 0 Change In 10 Years that's good that you take the time to go for walks but do you lift weights? or maybe your caloric intake is too high. or maybe replacing your lunch with a lighter meal. that seems so heavy even though i haven't eaten meat for 5. the oatmeal is good since it gives you fiber and adding more would be better. more exercise could just be it and how intense you do it. try varities of exercise. if you have anymore questions there is my address, i glad to hear from you. amy Karla wrote: > Im 5'5, 173lbs and I am moderately fit.
