Title: Different Sugars What are the differences between fructose, sucrose, and glucose? I was wondering if your body can easily get energy from one as from the other. Does your body convert all types of sugar into fat at the same rate? In other words, is it better if I intake calories from fruit instead of junk food? So as a general rule, the closer it is to its natural form (like fruit), the longer it takes to digest so the energy it gives you is more spread over time and less of it is stored. You feel more satisfied and full for longer after eating and it contains more vitamins.
