Female Question!!!If anyone can please help with this question that would be terrific. The past two years when Ive gotten my pap smear, I weighed 25 lbs. lighter than this years pap. I don't know what caused this because I have never been this weight concious nor have eaten this good in my life. I am 23 years old and don't know if it's the "slowing" metabolism with age, or if it could be my birth control. I've used the same one for the past 5 years, so I don't know why it would make me gain or keep me from losing weight now. Any suggestions would be terrific. Thanks in advance.

to speed up your metabolism lift weights for muscle..and since your eating well make sure your meals are spread into 5-7 small ones..becoming more active helps speed it up, and make sure your not consuming too many calories. i know you said your conciious about what you eat, but some people arent concious about HOW much they eat...and they tend to drink lots of juices or cokes, or fat free cookies which have way too much suagr in it and results in fat storage

Ok, I just replied the EVERYONE READ THIS comment and said that I am 5'9 180lbs. I was 17% body fat in January and don't think it's much different, maybe a little higher. I wake up and work out on an empty stomach and I usually consume this on a typical day:
9-10 am 3-4 egg whites/1/4 cup nonfat cheese, and two slices of lowcal wheat toast
12:45-1 pm-1/2 can tuna with nonfat mayo and two slices of low cal bread and carrots or mixed frozen veg.
3:30-4:00 3-4 oz chicken with BBQ sauce, plain potatoe, and salad with low cal dressing or frozen mixed veg
work from 4-10 but eat a protein bar or cheese sandwhich (2 pieces of nonfat low cal cheese with nonfat mayo) at 6:30 ish.
After work I usually will have cottage cheese and a sugar free fudge bar.
I consume maybe one diet soda a week if that, and drink about 150 oz. of water a day. I do cardio atleast 30 minutes (maybe more) 5-6 days a week and lift 4 days a week. Am I doing something wrong here?
I've never been this worried if I eat a bowl of ice cream will I gain 5 lbs. or if I miss a work out will it catch up to me. This worries me too much too often and I'm becoming obsessed with it. This is not healthy. Please help.
