The yolk, yellow part, contains most of the protein. In a normal large egg the yolk contains 4 g while the white contains 2 g. The yolk also contains all the fat. There is a low amount of saturated fat in the yolk, so unless you are consuming 6+ eggs a day I would eat the whole thing.

The Yellow, or Yolk, of the Egg, has a fair bit of Fat in it... although only something like 1 in 4 grams of Fat in the Yolk is actually Saturated. Is there something wrong with it? That's up to you. I wouldn't suggest too many of them, though.
