Title: My 6 Pack Is A Mini Keg

I'm wondering how I can overcome my obsession for fast food, and junk snacks.

Over the last 3 years, I have had nothing but Pizza, Burgers, Taco's, Chips & Dip and Soda Pop.

I've tried to go off of it all, but after 2 days of eating salad's and drinking nothing but bottled water, I feel like I'm going to DIE because I'm DYING for food, and I feel so worn out.

Another thing is, I don't exercise, and never have. Absolutly NO motivation to, except when I see all my friends, or friends girlfriends with AMAZNG body's.

I'm about 180 pounds, with a mini pot belly, which really isn't that noticable, until I take my shirt off. But to exspose that 6 pack under there would be a DREAM Come True !

In November of 2000, I wound up having Phnemonia for 3 1/2 weeks, and I lost 12 pounds. I couldn't eat anything. I just drank bottles of water all day. at least 7 per day.

I was down to 168 pounds, and started looking great again, but being sick, and losing weight isnt healthy either.

Within a month, I gained that back, plus I'm guessing another 5 to 7 pounds. All from pigging out on junk food again because I hadn't had any of it for 3 weeks.

So . . . here's what I want to accomplish.

1. Start working out
2. Stop eating junk food
3. Stop drinking alcolhol on the weeknds.
4. Lose 25 pounds and exspose my 6 pack within 4 months.

All I need is more of a motivation to do it.

How should I begin, or who should I see, or talk to.

I'm not rich by any means, so a personal trainer at this point in time isn't gonna work for me.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks everyone.

Eatig just salads and water is unhealthy and foolish in any situation, and it wont drop your weight faster either.
Try spreading your food over 6 meals a day.
    Eat very very little fat,
    specially nothing deep fried.
No fat at all is bad too.
jus little nip a day will do.
Eat lots of carbohydrates(bread, cereal, potatoes etc)
during the morning and afternoon bbut not in the evening.
Drink lots of water all through the day, and have quite some fruit but not in combination with other foods, keep those separate by about an hour.
    Eat enough protein.(meat, eggs etc)
No sugar at all. sugar is not needed for anything

You've made a great decision, and assuming you do what you say, your life will never be the same after this.

I know what it's like... I only got into fitness about half a year ago. I still haven't reached my goal yet... but if everything goes as planned, I'll be there in about a month's time. It feels great.

Who should you be talking to? What should you be doing?

1... working out is essential if you're wanting that six-pack. Join a gym if you can, and if you can't, then invest in a pair of adjustable dumbbells and barbell.

2... cutting back on junk food is also going to be essential here. But cutting them completely is just going to make you crave them more. Pick 1 day of the week, and on that day, you're allowed 1 small free meal which contains whatever you want in it... even junk food. Note I said "small" free meal...

3... stop drinking alchohol, yeah, essential like everything else. If it's something you think you'd get pressured into, stand up for yourself. You must have a strong belief in what you're doing if you're going to succeed. Just say no thanks, and ignore any pressure from friends.

4... "lose 25 pounds", bad goal. Don't go by the scale. It doesn't take into account Body Fat % (how much of your body is muscle, and how much is fat), or when the last time you ate was, or how much water you've got in you at the time, so you end up with a faulty reading.

    ------------------------------

As for what you should be doing... tell me what you have available. If you can get the dumbbells and barbell, I can make a routine for you. If you can join the gym, I can make a different and better routine for you. Your diet will need to be adjusted depending on your routine, so I can't make that until I have more information as well. Email me with further info on that, and I'll set you up with something.
