There are different kinds of vegetarians: The Vegan, which is the strictest vegetarian, does not eat any meat, fish, poultry, eggs, or dairy. I personally think that is a little strict. I have been a vegetarian for over 10 years now, but I do eat fish. A vegetarian that eats fish and seafood, but no other meat is considered a Pesco-vegetarian. There are several good reasons to eat fish. It is an excellent source of protein, which you need extra of as a vegetarian. Plus fish contains omega fatty acids, which are vital for your health. There are several other types of vegetarians too, which could take all day to write about.
