    Title: Basic Foods!

go for as natural as you can. FRUit/veggies, whole grains ( cereals, oatmeal,no starchy white breads), lots of lean protien ( form chicken or fish etc) if your trying to gain muscle..and if you wanna lose fat, dont eat too many carbs ( never cut them all out though) meaning make sure to include all the food groups and not just munch on toast or bagels all day, and cut down on sugars and junk food..BAD! fruit is a good alternative..make sure yur working out with weights if your wanting muscle..do cardio too to help lose weight

The best source for carbs are vegetables and fruits; go easier on fruits, because they are higher in calories. Lean meats (turkey, chicken) and beef (though it is not lean)are very good. Beans are the good source of protein too.
I am on a diet for 2 months now and I lost 17 pounds. I exercise 5 days a week and try to eat healthy.
You can start by reducing the amount of complex carbs that you eat. Try stay away from chocolate, cakes, sugar, ice-cream. If it is hard for you to do, treat yourself once a week with the peace of chocolate (it's much better than cake or ice-cream).
Reduce the intake of "white food" meaning( potatoes, rice, white bread). White flour is very high in sugar, and trust me you don't need it. If you have a sweet tooth, fruits will realy help. I am bying 5 or 6 large watermelons each week, and couple lbs of peaches and cherries. If I have craving for something sweet, I just eat cherries or peaches, and it helps. Watermelons are absolutely great for you health. They are very high on fiber and so refreshing and energizing. I don't know if I am using the correct words here, but I am doing my best.
Water is the most important thing. Don't forget to drink as much as you can. There is a minimum though. You have to drink 64oz a day, and trust me it helps to lose those pounds. Everytime you feel like you want to eat something, grab glass of water first, drink it and wait for 5 minutes. See, if you still want a snack.
