Title: 17 And Soo FRUSTRATED!!! Hi, I am soo frustrated with my self i am 5'4 and weigh 170 I used to weigh 130. i need to deperatly loose 50 pounds i am sick of being a size 14. Tomarrow I am going to start my healty eating and workouts. I just need a boost on whats best to loose weight as of food and workouts. Hi, I wish you the best of luck in your fitness endeavors. I encourage you to stay focused and remember this is going to be a process that takes time. You'll get closer to your goal each week, but its going to take several months. Since it sounds like you are not on an exercise regimen currently, I'd definitely recommend brisk walking for the next month. Get in a 40 minute to an hour walk at least 5 days a week. This will accomplish two things. First you will be slowly working your body up to a point where it can physically handle more intense exercise later and second, and perhaps more importantly, you'll get mentally used to the idea of exercising for extended periods of time without burning out. In conjunction with the walking, you'll want to get your nutritional habits to a reasonable level. No starving here, but eat with a purpose. (On occasion that purpose can be 'I want something that tastes good') I suggest taking this on a month by month basis. Each month increase the intensity of the exercise you do (moving from walking to swimming, biking, maybe jog-walking, etc.). In this case slow and steady really does win the race. Again good luck!
