Title: FRUITS I HAVE A QUESTION . I HAVE STARTED DRINKING SLIM-FAST. I DRINK THERE SHAKES 2 TIMES A DAY AND 1 TIME I DO MY DINNER [ LOW FAT DINNER]. BUT IN MIDDLE OF THAT ALL SHAKES AND DINNER WHEN EVER I FEEL HUNGRY I EAT LOT FRUITS SO IT STOPS MY CRAVING. BUT ONE OF MY FREIND SHE TOLD THAT FRUITS HAVE LOT OF CARBS WHICH TURNS INTO SUGAR AND THEN FAT.SO I AM CONFUSED NOW . HOW MUCH FRUITS IN A DAY WE SHOULD EAT , I MEAN WHAT IS THE LIMIT OF CARBS [ FRUIT ]WE SHOULD HAVE IN A DAY. I KNOW THAT DRINKING TWICE A SLIM-FAST SHAKES AND ONE TIME DINNER IS FINE .BUT NOW I AM CONFUSED ABOUT FRUITS AND FRUIT JUICES. I am not an advocate for diets such as slim fast, you should be making a lifestyle change and eating 4-6 small meals that are balanced if you want to a lasting change. Carbs from fruits and veggies are the best kind of carbs used for energy and, basically, living. If you are so worried about carbs turning into sugar, just check out the sugar content of a Slim-Fast shake!! Yikes!!!
