Title: Please Help Me Hi there I am 14 years old.I want to start a diet,here is what is on my grocery list so far for my mother to buy me.She will buy them to.So far I have Egg Whites,Tuna Fish,Skinless Bone Chicken or Turkey Breast,Extra Lean ground beef or turkey,Skim Milk(Nonfat Only),Non Fat Breads,Apple and Orange Juice,Low Fat Snacks for cheat days,Other Low Fat Foods,Do I need to take anything off,and Can someone please help me with some more foods. You can have anything you want as long as you moderate yourself. If you want a scoop of icecream, that's fine, but don't have it every day. That kind of thing. Have a diet you can sustain. That said it sounds like you have a good list to start with. I'd suggest whole fruits in there. Also be careful of low fat snacks. They really shouldn't be considered any different than regular snacks. That is have them if you have a craving, but don't go overboard. Good luck! Some things to add: Salmon, Oats, Cheese, Cottage cheese, Natural Peanut butter. Thats about all I can think of for now. Don't cut out fat completly from your diet. 20-25% of your total calories should come from fat. Most of that should come from polyunsaturates and monosaturates.
