Title: Energy Drink Before Workout

Does consuming an enegry drink such as Red Bull before a workout decrease fat reduction since your body is getting its enegry source externally?

    It really depends on what you mean by "workout".

    If you mean weight-lifting, then yes, it's a good idea to drink something like that about half an hour before you workout, so you'll be able to have the energy to actually lift.

    If you mean a Cardio workout, it would be alot better to drink it about one hour after you've done the workout. That would give your body sufficient time to burn off the fat it's going to, instead of just burning Carbs.
