Low Carb Snacks?Does anyone know a good low carb snack that I can take between meals? I just started a short term low-carb diet with my gym, and I need to know some ideas of low-carb snacks. Do you also know a book that tells how many carbs/protein/fats are in everyday foods?

First of all, I'd really advise against a low Carbohydrate diet. Carbohydrates are what gives your body the energy it needs to build muscle effectively.
Secondly, you don't need a book for that. Just look on the side of the box of most foods, and it'll say all the information right there.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with Carbs, your body needs them to have the energy to do it's normal functions correctly, I don't see what everyone has against them... Protein and Fat aren't good for energy at all.
The only bad part about Carbs, is eating them before bed. Carbs take a long time for your body to digest (Which is why they're great for energy), therefore if you have them 2-3 hours before bed, when your body's metabolism slows down, they end up stored as fat. So, as long as you don't have too many too late in the day, they're almost necessary.

ok, i am now sick of seeing adrien talk about eating loads of carbs. a long time ago i tried to eat lots of begals, bread, pasta, along with some protein. i never worked. has anyone ever seen a 'diet' work and have such positive results as this one of low carbs?! it worked for me. it is just important to eat some good carbs, found in fruits and veges. these give alot of nutrients and keep the body healthy without feeling full as you would do from a bowl of pasta!
so here goes i will give you some ideas....cottage cheese maybe with some fruit. ham, turkey, or tuna salads; they dont have to be big. nuts are a source of good fats. protein bars or drinks are really good!
well goodluck!
