Eat 5 or 6 small meals spaced throughout the day starting with eating breakfast. Name: Nomar Date: Jun. 6th, 2001 Title: Re: LOWERING BODY FAT Pick up a copy of Jonny Bowden's book "Shape up!" it's a really good way to diet that does not involve calorie counting. Lowering body fat comes from the old fashioned way: Diet and Exercise. Diet is six small meals with good protein from white meats: Chicken breast, Turkey, Fish, Egg Whites, Whey Protein; good carbs like oatmeal and sweet potatoes; and good fats from nuts, fish, avocadoes. Drink plenty of water. Avoid sugar, salt, saturated and trans-fats. Exercise: Start lifting weights to build muscle. Muscle burns 50 calories per day per pound. Aerobics are good too, but don't build your metabolism nearly as well as building muscles. Also proper stretching can help your recovery and prevent injuries.
