Title: WHAT TO EAT I have just started this new diet and exercise program and I'm looking for ideas on what foods are good for you to eat and will help u lose weight. I am 5'10 and weigh 210 and would like to lose around 30 to 40 pounds. Plaese i would love any tips. Name: jessica Date: May. 25th, 2001 Title: Re: WHAT TO EAT well, I'm sure you've heard it all before, fresh fruits and vegetables, protein, carbs, etc...Which is all true. But what has helped me more than anything is drinking an adequate amount of water (8-10 glasses). I hadn't realized I was walking around half dehydrated most of the time and that actually makes you feel hungry. It sounds hard and at first I didn't think I could do it, but with persistence and lots of encouragement from others, it is now a part of my daily routine and it helps! Think about weight lose as a lifestyle change and it goes a long way. And don't be afraid to enjoy the foods you love in small amounts. Denial always backfires. Good luck!
