Title: Carbs I run 3.5 to 5 miles at least 4 times per week and weight train at least twice a week. I weigh about 140 and have a good amount of toned muscle. I have some excess fat around the middle I am trying to lose and am trying to do so by cutting down on the amount of carbs and sugar I eat. However, this has been a real challenge. The more I cut back the more I crave not to mention that my energy level has substantially decreased. What can I do to lose that extra fat????? Not real weight, this is not a real result unlike too many people think. The only thing you lose is some water, not fat. Don't worry about Carbs, but NEVER eat too many Carbs 2-3 hours before you go to bed. Any other time, and they're fine. Sugar on the other hand, turns to fat VERY easily. Cut way back on it, more preferably none at all. Cardio and weights 3-4 times per week, and cutting back on Sugar, and considering you've got some muscle already, you should see results in no time at all.
