People seem to eat more with a long gap between meals. I know if I don't have my afternoon snack Iam starving at dinner time and eat way too much. Eat a mid morning and mid afternoon snack. I usually have a 100 calorie snack each time.

The only reason that you can gain weight is because if you are depried of food for too lond you get extremely hungry and anything that you see looks delicious. This results in eating unnecessary foods which means you intake a lot more calories and people tend to lose track of what they eat. If you start eating on a regular schedule you will find that you are less hngry and that you eat healthier. This happens because your body ajusts and you take in the proper nutrients. If you do not have time for large lunches than grab somthing quick but healthy. I have found that if you eat tomato soup before dinner you do not eat as many other foods, this has helped me lose over 29 pounds.
I hope this has helped your curiosity !!

Look- all I know is this... When you eat
smaller meals at shorter intervals you are
allowing your metabolism to constantly chug
away at burning food all day. This allows
your metabolism to stay active and you can
burn more food faster. If you go long periods
of time... yes, you do get hungrier and tend
to eat more, but that's not what will put
weight on you. Your metabolism has been
dormant-- that is, it hasn't "chewed" away at
anything in hours. Then you plop a huge
steak or something in there and it is shocked.
Needs to work harder and chances are it
won't burn your food as
