Some people may argue this question, but I don't agree with the fact that peanuts or any nuts for that matter will cause break-outs. Breakouts are mainly caused my a hormonal imbalance and a imbalance of essential nutrients. Nuts contain EFA's(Essential Fatty Acids) which are crucial to proper nutrition. These EFA's are commonly known as Omega 3, 6, and 9's which are also found in olive oils, peanut oil and fish. They are actually very healthy for you, and very beneficial to your skin. As you said nuts are very fattening and high in calories, but are extremely healthy for you if you don't over do it. One or two servings a day is a common suggested serving size for nuts, and if anything will benefit the skin, rather than harming it.
