Title: Protein Shakes Im looking for any good recipes for Protein Shakes!!! Name: Karie Date: Mar. 21st, 2001 Title: Re: Protein Shakes Kari, One of my favorite topics!! See my response on protein to Football Freak, below. This is my favorite blender drink. The proportions don't matter much. Suit to your taste. Mix in a blender, non-fat yogurt, non-fat cottage cheese, (makes it taste like cheese cake) OJ, non-fat milk, banana, powdered egg whites, or egg beaters (optional: this may give some people gas), a little bran, sunflower seeds or almonds, strawberries, blue berries, a peach, or any favorite fruit in season, vegetable (soy) protein, and blend to suit. In summer, I add ice cubes to chill it down while blending. This can taste so good, it almost seems criminal. It's quick, and you can drink it in the car, at work, or in the gym. If you know about protein and carbohydrate balancing, you can mix proportions to just the way you want. Good Luck!
