Title: Cravings Dumb me! I put this on the wrong board the first time I was surfing this site. Oops! Anyway, I wanted to know how to better curb my cravings. I have tried exercising whenever they come on, but I only want to reward myself after. I have given up chocolate for Lent and amazingly haven't craved that, but it's weird stuff like peanut butter then yogurt and fruit then package of crisps. What do I do??? A good way to handle cravings is to give in...with resistance. Allow yourself whatever it is that you crave, but limit how much of it you eat. Eat only a little and you wont pack on the calories and fat, yet you will satisfy your craving. Also, try to think of pickles. They can appeal to you when you are in a snacking mood and they are guilt-less. They have actually been proven to BURN calories as you eat them! Don;t ask me how though! Annie wrote: > Dumb me!
