I was a football and soccer player in high school, buat since college i have been a junk-food-junkie and somewhat of a couch-potato. I have a new diet plan so that i can be in shape for summer. i have acces to a gym in my dorm. My new diet consits of calisthenics, plyometrics and a cardiovascular workout on mon. wed. and fri. and weight lifting on tues. and thurs. So I'm asking for help with a one week menu.

Hi....A balanced diet consisting of the 5 food groups is what you should be eating.....lots of vegetables and fruits. However when choosing from the grain food group try to skip white breads etc, instead choose ones that are high in whole grains..such as whole wheat bread/bagels/pasta.
Other tips are to drink skim milk, avoid higher fat ones, same goes for yougart and such.
Don't skip meals, this could decrease your metabolism, and in fact make it harder to lose weight, and trim up.
Stick to meats such as chicken, tuna, fish, and try to avoid higher fat ones (although not completely).
You may also want to try a protein powder such as Whey powder, this turns fat into muscle 50% quicker.

    Good Luck!!!
