Title: Eating More Fruit? Ive been off & on the High Protien diet for a while now with yo-yo results, but Iam now afraid to eat more fruit due to the high fructose & sugar levels they contain. Iam not sure because I do not believe in those types of diets. Just remember fruits are really good for your body and our body needs them. Fruits hardly have any fat, maybe carbs, but we need carbs. Most people on the high protein and carb diet yo yo. As a health and fitness professional, I see fad diets come and go, and come back again. The fact is, any diet that recommends extreme measures, such as very low carbs or very high protein is suspect at best. Your best bet is to eat healthy foods in moderation in accordance with common sense. Try to eat more fruits and vegetables. Remember, use common sense here. Any diet that makes you think fruits and vegetables are not good to eat, are not worth the paper they are printed on. Again these are general guidelines, and as always there are special cases when it comes to nutrition. Here is a little factoid for you. The human brain only runs on carbs. What happens when you don't have carbs? Same thing that happens to your car without gas...
