Title: Diet

I recently started at a gym and was told by my trainer there that I need to go on a low carb high protien diet. He explained it to me but I don't have time to make meals like this three to four times a day. Does anybody have any advice for me,such as suppliments that could help me keep my carbs low and protein high with out the hassle of spending hours in the kitchen?

Don't do it. You should be eating a well balanced diet, with the correct amount of carbs (your brain needs glucose (from carbs) to function properly, if it doesn't get it, it will feed off your muscle).

Now for preparing meals quickly: It's not a good idea to get into the habit of buying pre-packaged foods (too many preservatives etc.). When I cook, I make a huge batch of food, then divide it into containers and put them in the freezer to heat up during the week. I spend a couple of hours in the kitchen once a week. Also make sure you have quick foods on hand to eat like fresh fruit and veggies (and even a glass of milk) when you have to eat and run.
