My favorite post-workout meal consists of a tuna sandwich and a powerbar. A tuna sandwich delivers roughly 40 grams of protein, 200 calories, 30 carbs, and 4-5 fat grams. The power bar is packed with vitamins and 10 grams of protein, 220 calories, 40 carbs, and 2-3 fat grams. Muscles need more than JUST protein to rebuild.
