Title: Metabolism Slows - Low Calories I have what I believe is an interesting question. I have read many times if a person restricts their calorie intake too much the body may think it needs to go into preservation mode and lower the body's metabolism thus defeating the intent of the person to lose weight. Suppose a person doesn't decrease their calorie intake but instead does aerobic exercises amounting to 1000 calories. Is the body going to think it needs to go into preservation mode and lower the body's metabolism?
