here is just a list of a few things... bowel damage, bleeding throat, dehydration, heart failure, ulcers...thats just the start of the list. Just type Bulimia in a any search engine...There are hundreds of pages.

Bulimia is a nasty thing to have. I'm in recovery from both anorexia and bulimia. I have suffered for 2 years and have been in 4 hospitals. Bulimia wreaks havoc on your body. Not only does it slow down your metabolism, it can actually cause weight gain. When you purge, you don't get rid of all the calories. Besides making your teeth yellow and start to fall out, it puts a trmendous strain on your heart and you can die. If you tear your esophagus while vomiting you could bleed to death. Your face can get really puffy from edema(water under the skin) and you'll get chipmunk ckeeks. Not to mention the facts that you can pop blood vessels in your eyes, scar your hands, and get scabs on the edges of your mouth. Bulimia is not pretty.
