Title: Has Training Stunted My Growth??

Hi,

I started weight training when I was JUST 16, 3-4 times a week, im now 18 and im worried about my bone size and body structure. My older brother and my dad have broader shoulders and are taller, my hands are really small and and my wrists are tiney (my brother (27) who I train with wears XL gloves and I only wear Small!)have I stopped growing?

Did I possibly stunt my growth by weight training at an early age??

    Hi,

    I'd be surprised if it had any dramatic effects in your case, but it can't really be determined without specific tests.

    If you and your family are concerned about it, you could look into bone density testing and other forms of tests to determine if there are problems.

    There are a lot of reasons to explain height.
