Title: Diabetic And Pregant I've just found out that I am pregnant. I am a type 2 diabetic and I am looking for good recipes and some helpful excercises. My blood sugars are under control and I wish to keep them that way. I have been walking steadily before becoming pregnant but we live in cold country and it is getting impossible to walk in the cold. If you could buy or borrow a machine whether it's an exercise bike or treadmill that would help you to remain active considering you live somewhere cold. Where do you live? I'm not sure about helping you with your diet. My mother was diabetic and when I was born I had to have a complete blood transfusion because my pancreas was working overtime in the womb and I had way way to much insulin in my blood when I was born. If I were you I would consult with your doctor, preferably your peditrisican(did I spell that right?) anyway...I eat a very well balanced diet and if you have any questions specifically, then feel free to ask. It is a great diabetic nutritional plan and they have a few cook books to go along with the book.
