hey. There is no problem whatsoever in taking too much protein.A bodybuilder takes in about 400 grams per day and they have no trouble.Protein goes directly to your muscles as it is non soluble through the glomerulus of the nephron(which make up the kidney)
So whoever told you rthat is lying.Drinking lots of water thought is still really important though to keep your metabolism working!

Excess protein is used as energy and can be stored as body fat. Amino acid supplements and excessively high intakes of protein are not recommended. They can increase calcium loss, and put an added burden on the kidneys which are required to filter the excess nitrogen protein provides.

Title: Re: PROTIEN ??are You Thick???

Are you thick???Number one, most protein drinks and supplements are MILK based you gimp!!!!Whats a main constituent of milk???CALCIUM YOU FREAK!!!!What do you give young babies to help build their teeth??MILK!!!!!!!MMMnGgg!!!!Thicko!!
excess protein sctored as fat??Strange...ive never seen a fat assed bodybuilder during competition time when his protein intake is still high??Have you???
And nitrogen being filtered through the kidneys causes added pressure??Check your textbooks dickwad and youll find out that hydrostatic pressure and osmotic pressure will remain constant in the kidney as most of the protein is absorbed by the muscles and never even goes anywhere near the kidney!!!
If you workout, your body can absorb up to 3grams of protein per pound of bodyweight!if you way even only 150 pounds youll have to eat 450 grams of protein before it became excessive!!Cosider that a fish consists of 20grams of protein. You know anyone 150 pound guy who can eat 22 fish per day??Me neither dickhead!!!!

Wow, you have an incredible grasp on vocabulary. Especially the cussing, that's always a good way to get your point across. FYI - I will cite specific sites that can confirm what I had posted. Your opinon of 3 grams per pound body weight is a controversial topic in the fitness industry. Review these sites, and then tell everyone on this board that in your EXPERT opinion, that its better to take a risk than play it safe. P.S. Grow up.

ooh witty!!!actually swearing is accepted in many streams of society today as it has an accepted hyperbolic effect..or as the fugees say.."i add a motherfucker so all you ignorant niggers hear me"
well.you say you have websites that confirm what tyou say??Strange, cos im here at the british institute for biomedical life sciences at glasgow uni,and all he professors here seem to be saying something different. These professors are widely regarded as among the best in the world in their fields, but you deny their abilities cos Jo Nobody at sad bastard.com has copied his info from and equally dodgy site cos hes interested in nothing but the ,money rather than the facts. These sites never seem to have any official backing at all do they???Ive never heard dorian yates say."hey guys we are working out all wrong, cos some gimp at fitnesslink.com says so!!Lets all change!!"
the main difference is that these professors are actually not only proving their facts a million times over but are living them too. Most of them are amateur atghletes, and bodybuilders competing at natibnal level here in Briatin.Ive never actually seen anyone form fitnesslink.coms pics up there?Who am i too believe???
whats also strange is that you claim that the three gram limit is still being debated yet you also say your sites are already pedalling info on one side of the argument??Lets be honest little boy, that doesnt speak too highly of validity of your sites does it?Have a nice day at the centre for people with severe learnming disabilities!!!
Oh and check out www.gla.ac.uk to check out our credentials gimp!!!!

              Brian you need help.

Honestly you sound like people going through 'roid rage.

Fitness is not solely "bodybuilding". Not everyone spends 6 hours a day lifting weights. I'm sure people who do can pretty much eat what they want.

Get some self-esteem. Your posts indicate you are lacking in it.
