Hi Maria!
I'm currently doing a major at university in Nutrional and Nutraceutical Sciences and we studied Chromium Picolinate. I don't have my notes with me right now but will have access to them next week and I could email you with what we discussed if you would like me to. What I do remember off the top of my head was that the product's validity is definitely in question. The man who has let the research is really sketchy in his research methods and results. Email me if you would like me to get back to you once I get my hands on my notes (I've been at home for the summer but will be returning to my school home this weekend and that's where all my notes are). I would be more than happy to do it for you. :)

Check Dr. Anne DeWees Allen's web page. AnnDeWeesAllen.com (I think). She's the head of biomedical research for the Glycemic research institute. I stumbled across some interesting research that she did on Chromium.
