Balanced Nutritioni have heard about different diets designed to increase matabolism, by finding the correct combinations of proteins, carbs, and vegetables. i am very interested in this, as i have recently lost weight by cutting way down on calories and fats. i want to eat more than i am currently. anyone that can point me in the right direction?

Unless you have particular dietary (possibly due to high physical activity), most people need to divide up there diet with
1) 50-60% carbs
2) 20-30% protein
3) 10-30% fat
Please note that these numbers are approximate.
You want to be very careful with any diet that tries to almost eliminate one of these 3 macronutrients. For example eating an very low carb diet can put your body into ketosis.
My advice: Stay away from fad diets and follow the US or Canadian food guide. If you follow it properly, you will be eating healthy and get the results you want.
