Title: How Does Weight Loss Work? Okay..... here's my problem..... I play tennis 4 hours a day, run 1.5 miles a day, usually get a 10-11 (minutes) on it. I lift weights for an hour everyday too. The only day I get a break is on Sunday. I'm 15. So, anyways, I lost about 5 pounds in the first two days. All I eat is fruit too. Maybe three oranges a day or something equivalent to that. After 2 days, I only lost 1 pound my third day, then I stopped losing weight after doing all this. My weight workout is.... 3x32 situps 3x32 side-left situps 3x32 side-right situps, and just your normal 3x15 bench and more chest and bicep work outs.... Can anyone tell me why I'm not losing weight anymore? Oh yeah, what's a good lower ab exercise? Name: Kevin Date: Jul. 7th, 2000 Title: Re: How Does Weight Loss Work? If all you are eating is fruit, that could be your problem. You need to eat a well balanced diet (i.e. 5-10 servings of fruits and veggies, 5-12 servings of grains/breads, 2-4 servings of milk products and 2-3 servings of meat or meat alternatives ... see the Canadian Food Guide for extra info) If you don't eat enough, your body try to store more fat. You sound like your're doing a lot of exercise, so once you get your diet right you should see the results you want. Good luck!
