I will tell you what I know and experiences I have had. Ephedrine AKA "Mau Hung", used to be illegal to sell by itself but now is sold in low doses normally blended with other thermogenic ingredients such as caffeine. Some, people are sensitive to Ephederine and get the "shakes" or nervous reactions. All asprin will do it thin the blood, not sure it has any thermogenic properties. And caffeine will we know what caffeine does. There are many stores that sell metabolic boosters that have the combination of both caffeine and "Mau Hung" and usually other ingredients. The best bet is to check out the book "Supplement Review" by Bill Phillips. He is the founder of EAS products and goes through a list of products that work and don't work. Plus, he explains how the ones that do work actually work. It is all backed by scientific research so it is a great source. You should be able to find one of the books at GNC or other nutrition stores. If nothing else go to the library and check out some medical journals that do the actual research on these product!
