Title: Weight Loss Hi. I am 19 yrs old and weigh around 130lbs. I follow a good diet along with exercise. I eat a high protein/low carb diet and i exercise about 5 times a week for an hour. I do the treadmill and either the bike or stairclimber. I have started to lose weight, but my stomach still sticks out a lot. Any recommendations?? The problem is that you are bulking up instead of lenthening. Taking ballet or Pilates will show you the importance or lenthening. When doing sit-ups make sure your back is flat against the floor and your stomache is fully contracted and pressing against your spine. Do slow crunches, not jerking situps. Then, ALWAYS strech!!!! Think of lenthening, not bulking!!! Two questions to one point: 1) how's your posture? 2) do you balance your ab work with strengthening for your lower back?
