Title: Weight Loss

Hi. I am 19 yrs old and weigh around 130lbs. I follow a good diet along with exercise. I eat a high protein/low carb diet and i exercise about 5 times a week for an hour. I do the treadmill and either the bike or stairclimber. I have started to lose weight, but my stomach still sticks out a lot. Any recommendations??

The most common problem is that you are probably doing your sit-ups wrong. So many people I know have six pack stomachs but they stick out. The problem is that you are bulking up instead of lenthening. Taking ballet or Pilates will show you the importance or lenthening. When doing sit-ups make sure your back is flat against the floor and your stomache is fully contracted and pressing against your spine. Do slow crunches, not jerking situps. Then, ALWAYS strech!!!! Think of lenthening, not bulking!!!

If you are eating a well-balanced diet and doing your ab exercises correctly along with your other exercise your tummy should not be an issue. Two questions to one point: 1) how's your posture? 2) do you balance your ab work with strengthening for your lower back?
