Title: Areboic Programs And Weight Hi. I have recently heard of this new exercise program called Pilates. Do you know what it is? Is it for toning muscle or losing weight? For a girl that is 5'2 or 5'3 is it possible to weight 95 to 100 pounds? Is running the best way to go? I want to start running. I read about it and I'm going to start. I don't understand though is running builds muscle or burns fat. Does running make you gain weight? I weigh 111 or 112 and I don't want to weigh more. Does running tighten one's buttocks? Can simple crunchs tighten up my abs? What are some other exercises for the all the abs- lower, upper, and the obliques? What is the normal intake of calories for a girl? Please write back asap! Thanks! -Peachy Name: Peachy Date: Nov. 27th, 1999 Title: Re: Areboic Programs And Weight Try eating right and realize you arew what you are and no amount of starving or running will make you an atttractive 95 pound skeleton. Try to do little bit of everything, aerobics like walking, jogging, cycling etc, light weight training and yoga or stretching. Do aerobics and weights on one day and aerobics and yoga on another day.Start with four days a week and gradually go upto six days a week. I have been able to maintain a weight of 145 pounds for the last 15 yrs. I am 5'7" and 37yrs old. Also eat properly with heavy breakfast, moderate lunch and light dinner. Also try to drink 4 to 5 litres of water everyday.
