Title: PCOS/Diet/Metformin I have a condition (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which I will be starting a new med. for soon. PCOS has several side effects in women from male pattern hair, acne, weight gain, etc.... I was told to use a hyperglycemic or diabetic diet in combo. w/ this new medication as PCOS also causes you to be insulin resistant. I have been searching the net, but have not found a good diet to follow. Is there such a thing as a combo diet? (hyp. and dia.) Any suggestions are welcome.
