Title: Spray Supplements Vs Pill Supplements After reading the postings involving supplements I decided to check out the website devoted to spray supplements because i had never really heard much about them. The site suggests testing your current vitamin by dropping it into some white vinegar to see how long it takes to dissolve. They tell you that is if your pill dissolves in 15 minutes you may recieve something like 40% of the effectiveness of the vitamin and much less than that if you are under 40... or something like that ( sorry i read the info over an hour ago and have been looking up lots on vitamins tonight). Anyway, this shocked me so I put my pill to the test... especially since the site names certain brands that take an incredibly long time to dissolve, brands that cost much more than the one i use. I dropped my vitamin in the vinegar and it dissolved within 5 minutes. Then I thought maybe its a good thing that they added this test to the site, because before i tried it i was concidering throwing out my brand for the spray. By the way, i use a multi vitamin called Sentury-Vite by Spring Valley... I buy it at Wal Mart. It is very inexpensive and according to the vinegar test is pretty effective. But why should one need to test their vitamin pills after buying them? One cannot fail with sprays since the sprays are absorbed through the lining of your mouth within seconds and bypass your digestive system which means a better absorbency rate (about 90% to 95%. You probably know what I mean after your extensive hours of research. You may want to check out another site www.theservicecenter.com/vitamist There is a handful of information for you there.
