Runningi want to make track team but i have to bring my mile time down 3 or 4 minutes and i want to know the best way to do that. Thanks laura

Practice running 2 miles at a time only once every three days. Set a goal of 10 seconds faster 2 times a week for the next 4 months and you will be there. OR. Practice running your time, say an 8 minute mile. Run for 8 minutes as far as you can and stop. Each session try to run a little further in that 8 minute time frame until you actual are running more than a mile in the scheduled 8 minutes. Either way works every time. Its a little further each workout as opposed to doing things all at once.
