Bulimia is a serious illness. These people who throw up all the time are destroying their esophagus by bringing up major stomach acid. Their teeth will get so bad that they can fall out. My friend is a dentist and the horror stories she tells me about young teenage girls that come in and the work they need. It strips the enamel off the teeth. Anyhow I think you have to become more aware of what foods to eat and how critical nutrition and exercise play in our life. Im the opposite of you, I was 50lbs overweight all my life until the age of 18 when I decided to get rid of it. Im now 28 and for 9 years have maintained my 110-115lb weight and have had 2 kids in between. It takes a lot of commitment and reading to get the knowledge but once you do it is really quite simple. Muscle is the magic pill. In order to have a fast metabolism you need muscle. Yes you have to lift weights and you dont have to worry about getting massive because unless you take up steroids (scary) you wont and cant.. Protein is the #2 secret. Try to incorporate some aerobics (fat burning) and weight lifting (muscle) 4-5 times a week and get ample protein. Protein helps build your muscle, hair, nails etc. along with keeping you satisfied for a long time so you dont crave the sweets (if thats you thing). Also keep fat intake low. Try to learn what foods are fatty and what are not. Ex. A ½ cup of lowfat cottage cheese has 15g protein (very good) and only 100 calories with hardly any fat in it like 1-2grams. Chicken breast (yes) chicken thigh (no). If you really want to get into things try to keep a daily log of you food intake so you can see how many calories/protein/carbs and fats you are consuming.
