keeping proteins and starches separate is a good start. eat nothing ever with added sugars and drink mainly water ALOT. this is your start, from there, your questions will be more specific but if you arent doing at least this, youll get fat eventually.

ok who ever told you you would get fat eventually is full of shit there is no saying that you will eventually get fat. your not fat now why would that change. my advice to you is to continue to do as you do and begin working out make sure to get plenty of carbohydrates and protien. don't over do it on the "sweets" but just enjoy having fun with your work out. don't worry about gaining weight.

Youre right. Abstain from sugar, alcohol and fake fat and all is well.

Is it really true that you have to stay away from everything that has sugar in it? are you just suggesting staying away from things with added sugar? I think that as long as you don't eat too much of any one food at any one time - that as long as you maintain variety in your diet - but eat low-fat most of the time, that you are eating healthily.

I can understand wanting to limit your intake of refined sugars (most foods that contain a lot of refined sugar are heavily processed anyway), but isn't it a little drastic to say eliminate them from the diet forever?
