Title: Healthy Packaged Snacks Can anyone give me ideas on healthy packaged snacks to eat during work hours. I sit at a desk all day, and I have 5 hours between breakfast and lunch. Name: mel Date: Dec. 5th, 2002 Title: Re: Healthy Packaged Snacks I have a similar dilema, eating breakfast at 5 am, with lunch landing right about 11 am. I have a break at work where I eat a lowfat yogurt and a banana. Sometimes I will also have a handfull of unsalted, roasted peanuts. Peanuts are high in fat, but a lot of the fat is monounsaturated, which is the better sort of fat, just keep it in moderation. Fruits and veggies are a great snack. My fav. is the grapes! Things like that. Just put some grapes in a sandwich bag and it can sit right in your desk. Don't take up any room.
