Do you really gain all that weight on the shot if you're eating healthy & excercising? That kinda worries me because I was thinking about getting that but don't want to automatically gain weight!! Is that what your doctor told you??

Hi ladies,
I have lost about 30 pounds with exercise and diet on the depo shot. It had actually never occured to me that it could be an obstacle. Good luck!

I've been on depo for a year and 1/2 - in that time i haven't changed my eating habits, but i've gained 30 lbs and my hips have gotten considerably wider. i can't stand looking in the mirror anymore - i go off in 3 weeks and i am DYING to know if my hips will return to normal - i can lose the weight myself -but i heard that after you go off the birth control pill the weight comes off very easily - is that anything like the shot? anyone, please help me, i've only got 3 weeks left
