Title: Protein And Fat/cholesterol Hi, I'm 38 years old and I've been pretty actively into strength training for a couple years. I've been increasing my protein intake gradually for a while, and I am now at the point where supplements are a must. I've been using whey protein, but the high cholesteroal and saturated fats are a major draw back. I've read some articles dissing soy proteins beacuse they are incomplete amino acid protein. Does anyone have any insight into soy protein with perhaps an amino acid supplement? For that matter does the difference between soy and whey really matter that much? I'm more concerned with overall health and strength than freeaky size. Thanks for any help, and feel free to email directly. If you consider that 1 egg has 215 mg of cholosterol, I don't think the whey is going to hurt much, and the 1 gram of saturated fat isn't going to hurt much either. I generally only drink 1 shake per day, right after working out. I do know of people who drink as many as 4 of these a day. As far as soy protein goes, I know nothing about it. I have heard from quite a few people who favor whey protein over soy.
