Title: Please Help

I am a senior in high school, and have always been aware that I was a little on the chbby side. I have tried several diets but have never actually followed a diet/excersize regiment through other than being a vegitarian. Today a teacher reffered to me as "round faced and stocky" this naturally really upset me. I want to loose about fourty pounds and I need some help please. Any help would be greatly appreciated.     I don't even know where to start. first and for most you need to learn about food. get yourself a nutritional book. second cut all sweets out for 6 out of 7 days, then treat yourself for that 7th day only. the third thing is to drink ALOT of water. i'm talking about 150oz a day. I know, I know but you got to do it. 4th you need to do cardo, for about 1hr a day and take one day off. also start doing some lifting as well good luck!!!

      You don't need to get a nutritional book. Just pay close attention to the cal. intake. Eat 6-5 small meals a day. For a 1-2lbs weigth loss per week you want to subtract 500cals. from your diet a day. And it is really not that hard to do. If you drink pop say cola it contains approx. 250cals. cut that out you are half way there all ready. You don't want to lose any more then that 1 -2lbs per week it is consider a unhealth weight loss.Cardio you want to be doing about 20-40minutes. And you want to doing weight training as well. Start yourself off slow and build your way up. Try to weight train 3 days a week and cardio 4-5 days a week. But once again start off slow build up. You don't want to over do yourself and overtrain.
