Title: Nutrition On Days Off On the days I do not weight train or do not exercise do I still need to take in the same calories and extra protein supplements I take in on my active days? Also, what if it's a day off for weight training and I do just cardio do I take in the same amount of calories and protein supplements? I guess my real quwestion is do I need to change what I eat depending on what I do that day or eat the same caories and protein intake every day? Ok, these days you should be eating more protein to repair your muscles and then might want to eat more before you cardio. So, yes you would want to eat a little more, but not reason to pig out. On days that you dont work out, your body should not be as hungry , so youshould not be requiring as many since you arent expending them. The best thing to do, is try to eat the same everyday on a regularity, but on training days, supplement your Normal eating with maybe a shake and a protein bar, or some extra carbs after cardio, or more fruit for energy than normal. I know this i vague, but if you email me I can give you more advice ( Im at work right now) Name: jen2 Date: Oct. 3rd, 2002 Title: Re: Nutrition On Days Off Change it up. If you are hungry eat a small balanced meal. You should never be really hungry or really full. Your body will tell you, listen to it.
